Thank you for volunteering to help at The Stand. Please fill out the form below so we can get a better idea of how you'd like to help! We'll be in touch soon!
Lancaster Against Pipelines is committed to using Non Violent Direct Action to stop the Atlantic Sunrise Pipeline, and we need your help to do it. This team is steadily working to build creative blockades to demonstrate our community’s commitment to derailing the ASP and protecting our environment and community. Welders, medics, tree sitters, blockaders, scouts, etc. There are lots of ways to serve this team—and we need you!
The Lancaster Stand Site Team
The Lancaster Stand continues to serve as the base of operations for Lancaster’s pipeline resistance. Currently, the site is open each weekend for orientation, action trainings, art builds, blockade construction, and other activities. Click here for the Calendar of Events. Once construction begins, we expect to host a small number of dedicated volunteers who will live on site and help coordinate Non Violent Mass Actions. Maintaining this site requires mowing, erecting temporary structures, managing water and sanitation needs, and much more. Volunteers are always in demand!
Legal Team
The legal team is committed to helping us all navigate the law as we exercise our First Amendment rights. They lead “Know Your Rights” and “Legal Observer” trainings, coordinate jail support preparations, oversee the Legal Defense Fund, and work with local attorneys who are committed to serving our community.
Art Team
Joining the Art team is a great way to get involved with the movement, and scratch your creative itch. All you need are paint clothes and a great attitude. You can even bring the kids along! Some recent projects include: screen printing, creating signs and banners, and painting materials for Direct Action.
