The "Protect PA" Quilt Project

Come out & show your support!

paquilt.jpgLancaster Against Pipelines (LAP), with support from Lancaster Farmland Trust, will publically unveil the Protect PA Quilt Project! The quilt now stretches 50-feet. This is exactly the width of the permanent right-of-way that Williams wants to claim from Lancaster County residents, including many local farmers whose land is preserved.

It would take over 18-million quilt squares to represent the land permanently affected by Williams’ proposed right-of-way through Lancaster. If every resident in the state of PA made a quilt square, it still wouldn't cover the amount of Lancaster County land that would be permanently altered by the Atlantic Sunrise pipeline.

Come see this historic symbol of Lancaster pride, which also serves as a powerful symbol of resistance to the pipeline that threatens our way of life.
