We can either take advantage of the Clean Power Plan to bolster our job-creating clean energy economy while reducing climate disruption. Or we can allow dirty fuel industries and their friends in Harrisburg to keeps us stuck in the past with outdated energy technologies polluting our air, water, and climate.
The momentum for clean air and clean energy is growing -- in November, hundreds rallied in Pittsburgh to support the Clean Power Plan, and just last week nearly 100 people went to EPA headquarters in Philadelphia calling for stronger protections against upwind coal plant pollution -- let’s keep the momentum going!
Environmental and clean energy groups and activists, and Pennsylvanians from throughout the Commonwealth are organizing a Climate Day of Action in Harrisburg on 6/14 that we expect to be one of the largest ever to focus on the need for climate action and the transition to clean energy, and you can help make it a success.
Please RSVP here for the Climate Day of Action and we’ll follow-up to help plan your attendance.
