Global Climate Rally

Many from Lancaster will be attending the Harrisburg vigil and March on Sunday, which is one of thousands worldwide on the day before the UN Climate Change Conference in Paris.  Citizens' Climate Lobby is organizing a carpool, leaving at noon from Lancaster Shopping Center. Lititz Pike side.  Following the indoor service there will be a march behind  a group of Native American drummers to the state capitol. 
"An interfaith service for climate justice and peace at Grace United Methodist Church, 216 State Street. Speakers include former Senator Franklin Kury, Fr. Jim Podlesny, and Professor John Dernbach, delegate to Paris Summit.
Reflections, prayers, chants, and musical selections will be offered by various faith traditions in the community.
Global vigils are being held worldwide at 1 PM on Sunday, one day before the start of the International Climate Summit in Paris. 
Everyone is welcome to join people around the world as we rally, march, and pray that our leaders do the right thing."
