Please join us at a public meeting to inform Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) that the Atlantic Sunrise Pipeline is not welcome in our community (CP15-138-000). On May 5, 2016, the Office of Energy Projects at FERC published their Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS). The public meetings, like the DEIS, are just another checked box in the rubber-stamp FERC approval process. Despite a corrupt system that is stacked against landowners and citizens, it is important that we challenge the conclusions stated in the DEIS.
Links to the full DEIS documents as well as a summary version created by LAP volunteers are available online at http://www.wearelancastercounty.org/deis. All comments are recorded by FERC and made a part of the record.
We hope to see you at the Bloomsburg University on June 15th!
