Legal Action taken against citizen groups seeking Home Rule

Conestoga Township supervisor, Becky Miles' husband Drue Miles and Barabara Stokes from Martic Township have filed a challenge to both Martic and Conestoga's Home Rule application that was submitted to the Board of Elections in February.

The legal challenge submitted by a local law firm is citing trivial reasons such as page numbering, spacing, and collection of petition signatures as reasons to deny Conestoga and Martic residents the right to vote on community issues.

The bottom line is that if attempts to derail our Home Rule campaign are already taking place, somebody must be scared. What's the motivation? Somebody is definitely footing the bill. Very disappointing and both should be ashamed.
